Hello all,
my HP-25 I was given recently powers up and shows "0.00" on display, but unfortunately the keyboard remains non responsive.
Sounds like the keyboard controller is dead.
One or probably three chips are fried.
If anyone of you has some spare chips he could give/sell me, please contact me, I will give him the exact part numbers of the chips and the way to proceed.
Before you tell me: I have already asked Randy (FixThatCalc). Unfortunately he does not have the parts.
Kind regards.
Jean-Michel.

Hi;
did you read this post? That's the main reason I may have the chips you need. In fact, I have already tested two of the ACT units and they are not OK. I use an HP25 PCB with IC´s sockets so I can easily test any of them. Even the two IC's under the LED display are readily changeable.
Cheers.
