Finally
#1

Finally, got my first 41cx :-) Over a week in the post with the batteries not installed and no memory lost at this end. I find that quite impressive.

Does anyone (Geoff?) have suggestions on how to fix my 41cv with a fairly spongy PRGM/Alpha key?

Hi Pauli,

The only way I have found to fix a spongy key is to disassemble the keyboard and replace the round spring metal switch with one from a donor calc. It's not a trivial task I'm afraid, but it is possible.

Cheers,
John

Thanks for that. Since I don't have a donor unit I can't follow this route.

Hi Pauli,

I can send you one if you like, contact me off forum.
