odd serial number on HP97S

ciao a tutti !! (hello everyone)

I have just received my new baby, an HP97S

However, the Serial Number (quite a low one) rather than heat-printed in the back cover is on an HP sticker..





Does it mean anything to the more experts of you ?

I don't see anything unusual about the serial number itself. It doesn't seem like "quite a low one" to me.

My 97S has the serial number on a sticker. I'm guessing that Fort Collins division wasn't set up to stamp serial numbers the way that Corvallis division did.
