Reading through the archives slowly I came across this and reminded me of a auction.

Odd HP-41CV

Think it being done this way really offer advantages.

It sure is interesting!

However, I'm not really suprised by the speed modification. Lately I've stumbled accross another site giving some information about programming and a bit of personal HP-41 history of the owner.

See here.

The site is only in German, but it is stated there, that the owner of said HP-41 ordered a company to modify his calculator for greater speed. The modification also included a micro-switch on the side of the calculator that could be used to switch it back to normal speed if required.

But I agree, the extend of these modifications is impressive, I wonder at which price it will sell...

There are many programming quirks on the HP-41, you should know about labels (local and global), label searching, memory layout etc. to develop programs. You can even use synthetics or machine language to speed up your programs.
The turbo switch doesn't make bad programs good, it just makes a bad program faster.
