Happy Square-Root Day
#1

The newspaper today had an article pointing out that this is "square root" day: 3/3/09 where the two 3's (month/day or day/month - works for both the US and every-where else ordering) are the square root of the year.

Next one is not until 4/4/16, so celebrate while you can.

Yep. And I just can't wait till add-day (04/05/09) and subtract-day (12/03/09)...

;-)

Best regards!

F***, here it's the 4th already! Had not realized that 3 was the square root of 2009... ;-)

Well, I am old enough to state that 2/2/04, 9/9/81, and even 8/8/64 were not that special...

On the other hand, 1/1/01 was rather special, starting a new day, a new week, a new month, a new year, a new decade and a new century. I was near Fargo, ND, when it arrived.

You're right, true square root days were many centuries ago. Even square days ... d;-)

... and don't miss the multiply-minute which will occur this year 41 minutes past Midnight on July 7th !!
