Hi all...
Can someone tell me please why when I enter:
DERVX(X^2)
I get 0 (zero)
I already set functions to symbolic and the
arithmetic mode is set to exact, what am I doing wrong?
thanks in advanced

Check if variable X is defined and purge it. If X is defined, X^2 evaluates to a constant of which the derivative is zero. |
