#1

Help! My 15C is stuck in user mode. Pressing f user does not take me out of user mode. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

have you tried to remove the batteries? Of course this may mean losing all your programs.

  1. Turn it off.
  2. Press and hold down the (-) key.
  3. Press and release the ON key.
  4. Release the (-) key.

You should see Pr Error. Turn it off and back on again, user mode will be clear, along with everything else...

That worked! Many thanks!

I assume the 15C retains Memory for some time after Battery removal (my 34C certainly does and its a lot older and power hungry).

Sure, but if it remembers the programs, it will also remember whatever misconfiguration is causing it to be stuck in user mode.
