Hi guys,

who can claim bragging rights for possessing the earliest manufactured HP 20B claculator?

maybe we go by the serial no.

It's not a fair competition with Gene around! He's got to have the earliest among us (barring Cyrille, perhaps?)

Maybe only count ones that went through the retail channel?

82300522 (still stock) and 82300743 (JTAG and other mods).

By the powers invested in me as the originator of this thread, I hereby declare Gene Wright to be ineligible to bragging rights for having the earliest manufactured HP 20B calculator :-)

witnessed and endorsed by Seth Morabito.

Hello people,

I claim bragging rights to the first HP 20B calculator prototype in Malaysia :-)

Here's a picture of the back of the calculator: smooth as a baby's bottom and devoid of anything save the HP logo ;-)

You can see a JTAG connector pin on the yellow tab.

(thanks to cyrille, you da HP man!)

(p.s. can anyone tell me how to upload the image in this forum, like Scott Newell's above? TQ)

To display it, just click the "Image" button below the new response window and paste in the link, which will result in this text in your message:

...and display your picture like this:

If you want to actually upload the image to the museum, you will need to set up a guest account with Dave H.
