Using complex numbers in EQW on the 50g?
#1

I would like to use complex numbers in EQW in polar form using the representation (r,<theta) but it doesn't seem to work at all.

The representation r*e^(i*theta) is taken by EQW and returned to the stack when ENTERed, but ->NUM returns the wrong ordered pair of numbers.

The representation r*cos(theta)+i*r*sin(theta) is taken by EQW, returned to the stack when ENTERed AND ->NUM returns the correct ordered pair of numbers.

Are my observations correct? I would really rather use the (r,<theta) representation.

It appears EQW will handle any (I think) ALPHA /-> keypad combination except ALPHA /-> 6. Maybe I'm just asking for too much from the 50g.
