The HP Way: How Bill Hewlett and I Built Our Company (O/T) - james summers - 07-28-2006 Apologies for a question that's probably already been discussed and that I missed, but is 'The HP Way: How Bill Hewlett and I Built Our Company' by David Packard a good read? Any other recommendations (I've nearly finished working through all the space program books that were recommended in a posting here a couple of years ago.) If so I shall add it to my next purchase of books. Best wishes
Re: The HP Way: How Bill Hewlett and I Built Our Company (O/T) - Karl Schneider - 07-28-2006 James -- Quite frankly, I did not find the book particularly enlightening. I picked up a copy cheap from a library used-book clearance sale. The HP-35 is briefly mentioned, but not the HP-41C or any other of the calculator line in existence at the time. There are a few "nuggets" here and there, but I found the book rather superficial. -- KS

Re: The HP Way: How Bill Hewlett and I Built Our Company (O/T) - james summers - 07-29-2006 Karl Thanks for the information, think I will give it a miss. When I had a look on Amazon there was a review which said it was very dry. Best
