Collectors Database Software - Matthias Wehrli - 05-01-2006 Hi I would like to know, how you archive your collections in a database. Do you use a special software or do you use a Access scrip as me? I would like to share ideas and tipps.
Matthias
Re: Collectors Database Software - Maximilian Hohmann - 05-01-2006 Hello! As a Macintosh fan I use selfmade AppleWorks databases (previously "FileMaker" which has been merged with AppleWorks some time ago) for everything that I collect or archive. Apart from photographs, for which I use a special cataloging programme called iView Media Pro.
Greetings, Max
Re: Collectors Database Software - Mike (Stgt) - 05-02-2006 The "database" built in the HP200LX is sufficient, at least to keep my collection with less than 5000 items. Else try Lotus Agenda. I know one IT pro using it for serious work: "it is unparalleled 'till today".
Ciao.....Mike
