HP 12c and HP 12 cp at CES - Kalevipoeg - 01-09-2006 Have you read an interesting story of the HP 12c history at HP Newsroom There is also a big image of the newest HP 12c platinum at HP Newsroom Yes, it´s the 25th anniversary of the HP 12c BTW it´s also the 90th anniversary of "Consul" The Educated Monkey (not a HP calculator :-) but I heard it is still in production) Re: HP 12c and HP 12 cp at CES - tony (nz) - 01-11-2006 Quote:Thanks Kalevipoeg - I hadn't seen it. I see the last sentence claims the platinum has "extra financial functions". I don't know what these are. Quote:Great pic! Quote:Now, that is cool. I'd never seen Consul before. Cheers, Tony Re: HP 12c and HP 12 cp at CES - Gene Wright - 01-11-2006 Well, isn't X^2 a financial function? :-) Seriously (maybe), they may be thinking of the extra cash flow registers. Not really a function, but ... Then again, they may not know the difference between extra functions and extra "financial" functions.
