How do I get this model 15c out of scientific notation ?

Hit the yellow shift key (f), then fix (shifted 7 key), followed by the number of significant digits you want displayed. This will give you fixed notation. Scientific and Engineering notation are on the shifted 8 and 9 keys respectively.
