I've misplaced the operations manual.
How do I adjust the brightness of the screen so that the background functions do not show up?

Hold down the ON/C button while pressing the "-" key to decrease the contrast. Pressing the "+" while holding down the ON/C button will increase.

Hold down the 'C' key and press '+' or '-'.
