I thought I'd post a new message on this just in case someone has a 34C and would'nt mind looking inside, or has repaired one. I took it apart and (@#$%&^!) mixed up the chips. Thanks to Wayne Brown who answered my last post, I know I have the chips oriented correctly. However I don't know if they are all in the right places The three smaller chips can be swapped, and I'd just like to know which goes where. (you can open up the case without any problems, I pried up stuff to get the chips out.) One other problem I have is the battery pack, but that question is answered already.
