41 translation module for the HP-71B - Joao - 11-19-2004

I wonder if some kind soul can tell me how to switch on and off the 41 translation module for the 71B. Many thanks in advance.

Etienne's suggestion is bullet proof. But first try mine: type "BYE" (w/o quotes but upper case). Just tried it in JF Garniers EMU71.

Ciao.....Mike

Great, now I know two ways of turning it off. But how do
I turn it on?

Hi there,

In case you don't feel comfortable with any of the advices above, you may want to try the following:

Type "BASIC" to get your 71B to "normal" Basic operation.

A look at page 18 on the manual (or the MoHPC's CD for that matter) will show the whole "Environment" switching table.

Best.
