PPC Paris and JPCROM for the HP-71B - J-F Garnier - 02-04-2003 Hello all, As a former PPC-Paris member (242), I'm looking for old members who could still have some materials from these old days. Especially I would like to get the JPCROM source files. I have partial source lists from the JPC journal, but not the full source files that were assembled on a HP Integral PC. As you may know, I'm a HP-71B fan, and I *really* would like to recover these documents. Thanks in advance. Jean-Francois
Re: PPC Paris and JPCROM for the HP-71B - Gene - 02-04-2003 Hi. I have the JPC rom. In fact, it's the unpublished corrected bug-fixed source file in an EPROM. I do not know how I can get it to you, however. I have a tape drive, but no tapes. Can anyone volunteer to copy the ROM to a 9114 disk? (Assuming that no copyright issues are a concern?)

Re: PPC Paris and JPCROM for the HP-71B - Emmanuel, France - 02-05-2003 Hi there, Re: PPC Paris and JPCROM for the HP-71B - Gene - 02-05-2003 Hi there, I have some different versions of JPCROM. Gene: The version I have is an unreleased, debugged JPC ROM Lex file. It is an ordinary lex file on the ROM.
In order to copy it onto a MSU, my advice is to use ROMCOPY. Gene: Perhaps, but I don't think there will be any problem just treating it as a normal LEX file. Not sure. Gene, do you have an Eprom version or a plug-in module?
Gene: It is a plug-in Eprom.
Re: PPC Paris and JPCROM for the HP-71B - Emmanuel, France - 02-05-2003 Does 'plug-in eprom' mean a 27256 eprom that fits into Re: PPC Paris and JPCROM for the HP-71B - Gene - 02-05-2003 I believe it fits into the CMT variety. It is present in the front port of my HP-71B. There are 2 others who have volunteered to help, one in the US (I think) and one in Greece. The best choice is the one that gets it either a) on the web for all, b) on tapes and floppy disks to be used, or c) able to be burned on NEW Eprom modules. Or a combination. Who should it be loaned to?
