HP Prime - Imlicit multiplication - bluesun08 - 11-11-2013

I can imput in CAS "2x^2" without a dot operator between 2 and x and all is ok.

But if i imput in CAS "(1/2)x^2" without a dot operator between (1/2) and x then the calculator produce an error message (even if i imput 1/2 without braces). Why?

The topics here get pushed into archives rather quickly because of the sheer volume of discussions. A lot of folks end up missing the original discussion on lots of issues.
