Nonpareil Rom files - davorin - 09-20-2013

Evenin' (o;

Has someone looked into detail of Eric's Nonpareil simulator?

I see there are several ROM object files with content like:

00011:1137
00012:1713
00013:1367
00014:0072
00015:0126
00016:0410
00017:0510

Assuming first number is address and second one is the content. But as ROM chips are 10 bits wide I wonder why for example there could be a content of "1713", which if it is decimal, would exceed the 10 bits.

cheers
richard

Seeing as how none of the digits values exceed 7 and the most significant digit is 0 or 1, I suspect the values are in octal. As such, they are all ten bit values.

Ah, octal - great for folks with no thumbs!
