I recently purchased the HP 12c Platinum emulator software for Windows from the HP web site. The license key was sent to me by Digital River. When I run the software and try to activate the license key, I get a message that the activation server cannot be found. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

yep, just got it.

It seems to be a Windows 8 problem (definitely a crappy OS).

I've now used a different method which should work ...
