HP 34S complex # problem Richard Berler 02172013 I can't get the hang of working complex # problems on the 34S. The 15C manual has a problem that is intuitive on that platform and on the 35S, but not for me on the 34S: 2i(8+6i)^3/(42sqrt5i)*(24sqrt5i) The answer is ~ 9.398235.1344i
Thanks for any help!
Re: HP 34S complex # problem Gerson W. Barbosa 02172013 Assuming you mean 2i(8+6i)^3/((42sqrt(5)i)*(24sqrt(5)i))and stack size is set to 8, SSIZE8then a possible keystroke sequence is 2 ENTER 0 ENTER 6 ENTER 8 +/ ENTER 0 ENTER 3 CPX y^x CPX *This returns > 9.39820200952
