TI-Nspire on iPad - Mic - 02-07-2013 Hi, TI released today the TI-Nspire app for iPad :
It is 30$ against 10€ for the HP50g (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hp50g/id553279622?mt=8 ) app but it is a real software specially developed for tablet.
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Bruce Bergman - 02-07-2013 Anyone who charges $30 for an app doesn't GET the micro-payment model. Sheesh!
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Jim P - 02-07-2013 TI made the "Using the TI-Inspire App for Dummies" file free (how kind) softening the blow of this outrageously priced app. It contains mind-blowing analysis such as: "Wow! This feature is fun and easy to use!" All that remains is for someone to publish "HP_model#_" for Dummies and the apocalypse will be upon us. Fortunately, dummies don't use HPs as a rule....
Dodging invective....;o)
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Namir - 02-07-2013 I have been unable to find the TI NSpire App on the App Store? Has anyone else had better luck?
Namir
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Mic - 02-08-2013 The app was temporary removed for security reason... uhm uhm...
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Namir - 02-08-2013 Say what my friend???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Reth - 02-08-2013 I always taught this was an HP calculator forum.

Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Eric Smith - 02-08-2013 Unless the PDF download was only a teaser or something, it is the first "For Dummies" book I've seen that is totally worthless.
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Bruce Bergman - 02-08-2013 You could write, and share, programs with it. That's a big no-no in the App Store.
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - René Franquinet - 02-09-2013 Thanks to this TI'Nspire message, I have bought the HP50G app. I am using the real hardware HP50G since 5 years and I am glad to have a simulation on my iPad now. Have you seen the really nice i41CX+ app with printing capability etc.? It is an emulation of the HP41CX and more than that. It is not cheap ($24.99), but even a second hand bare HP41CX on eBay will cost 5 times more. The look is almost the same (use the Classic Rectangular skin) but the feel will be different.
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Howard Owen - 02-10-2013 i41CX+ is awesome. Edited: 10 Feb 2013, 1:46 a.m.
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - Bruce Bergman - 02-11-2013 Totally agree, Howard. Best emulation out there overall.
Re: TI-Nspire on iPad - John Swisher - 02-11-2013 Not paying attention to what the competition is what got hp calculators in trouble the first time. Anyway, hp 41cx+ is the most awesome calc app yet.
