Hi, I live in France, and I'm travelling to New York city next week. I'd like to but the new HP49G in NY. Please can someone tell me where can I buy it.

Try posting your request on the HP48/49 newsgroup: comp.sys.hp48
There are constant posts about HP49 avalability. You can always order it via WholesaleAdvantage or equivalent.

I purchased my 49 at my college bookstore. Incidentally that's where I returned it too. I would sugest getting your hands on one for a while before making your purchase. Looks like I'll be sticking with my 48 & 89 combo.
