Introduction and discontinuation dates for HP Calculators - Harald - 07-27-2012 I have started to make a list of introduction and discontinuation dates for HP calculators in order to produce a diagramm showing these. For most calculators the dates (years are good enough for me) can be found on this very website. But for some they can't. Missing are HP 48G/GX, HP49, 49GII, 48GII, 50G, HP32SII, HP33S, HP35S and the 15CLE.
Cheers, Re: Introduction and discontinuation dates for HP Calculators - Etienne Victoria - 07-27-2012 A partial timeline was produced here. Some missing recent dates can be found on the Hp calculator poster : Great poster from the calculator reference. You'll have to download and enlarge the image - or better buy the poster :-) I have it : great quality pictures and layout. Cheers Etienne
Re: Introduction and discontinuation dates for HP Calculators - Mike Morrow - 07-27-2012 A lot of these dates, sometimes down to the precise day, can be found in A Guide to HP Handheld Calculators and Computers. It's by the noted subject matter expert Dr. Mier-Jedrzejowicz, and is now in its Fifth Edition, Fourth Printing (2011).
If one collects or is interested in history, this is is a "must have" publication.
Re: Introduction and discontinuation dates for HP Calculators - Harald - 07-27-2012 Quote:That is what I had in mind. Just haven't worked out how to do it yet. I have managed to do something similar using open office. But it is not as nice as I would like it. How was this diagram done?
Quote: Thanks! That has most of the dates I was looking for.
Quote: Might be worth getting. Sure looks nice.
Cheers, Re: Introduction and discontinuation dates for HP Calculators - Harald - 07-27-2012 That looks interesting, too. I guess I'll have to order that :)
Thanks!
