A Woodstock 67 - Matt Agajanian - 05-19-2012 Hi all. Since the HP-67 is built on Woodstock technology, shouldn't it be labeled part of the Woostock family instead of Classic lineage?
Just wondering.

No Woodstock was in the 1960s and in New York. Not applicable here.
Re: A Woodstock 67 - Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove - 05-20-2012 Your observation is entirely correct, but tradition plants it firmly in the Classics series. I guess the packaging is deemed more decisive than the innards in this respect.
Re: A Woodstock 67 - Matt Agajanian - 05-20-2012 And it does bear a family resemblance to the 65 so, yeah, I'll honour tradition and promote it to the Classic lineage.
Re: A Woodstock 67 - Mike Morrow - 05-20-2012 The same question could be raised much more so for the HP-19C. It's a Sting model even though its core is the same as the HP-29C Woodstock. It's what the machine looks like...an HP-67 looks a lot more Classic than it does Woodstock.
