HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Jeff - 05-09-2012 Is it just me, or are these the most hideous basic calculators on the market today? I thought they were ugly when they were released a few years ago, and can't believe that they're still around. I wonder if this tired line will ever see a makeover. http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/can.do;HHOJSID=qzRsPq7pZQVJ6dbJ9KFNXJ8tTQTyPfTws5LnkX22TrDVw966jvY1!38517041?landing=calculator&category=Office&catLevel=1&storeName=storefronts
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - John B. Smitherman - 05-09-2012 The 30b has disappeared from their web site.
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Harald - 05-09-2012 That makes sense, they seemed to be sold off at very low prices recently. Now they have gone back up.
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - John B. Smitherman - 05-09-2012 amazon.com currently lists the 30b for $20.13.
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Thomas Radtke - 05-09-2012 déjà vu?
Same topic recently, and Tim ensured us the 30b (and 10bII+) won't go.
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - NateB - 05-09-2012 There was a thread on this forum about the missing 33s. Someone speculated that it may be discontinued and Samson Cable promptly jacked up their prices. Last I checked, they have the 33s listed for $99 on Amazon. HP has them back in stock for $39.99.
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - M. Joury - 05-10-2012 Samson cables really seems to be a money grubbing (read greedy) organization. While I am all for capitalism, their version of it annoys the heck out of me. I will no longer give them any of my business. Just my 0.02. Cheers,
-Marwan
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - bill platt - 05-10-2012 When their prices are low, they have excellent service.
I think they are simply trying to meet markets--like the rest of us. We are all crazy to undercharge-----
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Marcelo Vanti (Brasil) - 05-10-2012 the calculator hp30b still appears in Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Eddie W. Shore - 05-10-2012 Quote:
Yikes - thanks for the heads up.
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Xavier A. (Brazil) - 05-13-2012 Hello Marcelo,
Living in Brazil, I wonder if there is any HP 30b sold here - I mean, new, and perhaps built in our country... but I have never seen such a calc. What do you think about that?
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Marcus von Cube, Germany - 05-13-2012 They're all built in China.
Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Marcelo Vanti (Brasil) - 05-14-2012 Neither do I. But the calc distribution in Brazil is gone many years Re: HP's Lousy Home and Office Calculators - Xavier A. (Brazil) - 05-16-2012 Thank you Senhores.
