WP34S: Fractions (Bug?) - Eduardo Duenez - 04-22-2012

I've just flashed my first 34s. (It took a bit of effort, but I managed to use the "Palmconnect" USB-to-serial adapter I originally got for my Palm IIIc! Even hunting down the WinXP drivers was tricky.)

Back to the 34s. I'm delighted with the little machine!

Per manual v3.0 fraction denominators are at most 9999.

However, the 34s doesn't seem to "know" the maximum denominator 9999. I tried:

1/9999 (becomes 0/1)

2/9999 (becomes 1/5000)

4/9999 (becomes 1/2500)

5/9999 (becomes 4/7999)

and gave up.

Denominator = 9998 seems to be fine, though.

Bug, or typo in the manual?

Best,
Eduardo

A bug :-(

Fixed now. Well, when the next build occurs.
