hp-41cv terminals - Eduardo Gangoiti - 07-20-1999
I lost information and diagram on the following:
In the side of my hp 41-cv calculator is a small rectangular cover that leads to what appears to be two terminal for conectic the calculator to AC using a converter-regulator. Does this device exist? Is it posible to conect the calculator to AC, thus avoiding the use of batteries? Is this just a partially developed conector abandoned by the hp engineers? In advance thank you for your help. Eduardo, Your last comment is correct. The HP device to use the connections you describe was never delivered, and HP eventually stopped putting them in the 41's. They only exist in early models. The hole was eventually used to connect the charger to the Ni-Cd battery pack that was sold for the HP-41, but the electrical connection is through the battery pack, not directly to the calculator

On my HP-41C I used this connectors with an home build adapter. But you should use an regulated source, otherwise you will see MEMORY LOST too often.
