New TI-PPP discovered! - robertoataulfo - 01-07-2012

I have not forgotten! :-)

Re: New TI-PPP discovered! - NateB - 01-07-2012

I've been waiting too...

New TI-PPP discovered! Here it is! - Joerg Woerner - 01-07-2012

Oops - I was to busy with my other prototype: The PHOENIX 1.

It arrived a few weeks ago from the ashes and is since yesterday featured on the cover of my Datamath Calculator Museum.

The TI-PPP stills needs some time, but here is a picture at least.

It is a real triple-P with ENTER key:

One P for Programmable

One P for Printing

One P for Prototype

Cheers,

Joerg

It looks very much like an industrial handheld device.

Look at the TI-78 - Texas Instruments had only one customer.
It's now a huge market (UPS, Grocery stores...) owned by Symbol / Motorola and others.

Too bad there is no different sections in this HP calculator forum, if they were, one of them should be named "TI fans"

Re: New TI-PPP discovered! - robertoataulfo - 01-08-2012

With great pride I'm a fan of TI and HP's.
What's wrong with discussing a different brand here?
I feel very proud to have learned a lot and increased my collection of other brands here.
I keep thinking there are people who could keep quiet because they add nothing.
Thankfully, nobody knows (or will not) read this. :-)

Wow, you made so many disputable statements ;-)

Please don't take this too seriously.

As long as your fandoom towards HP is bigger it's OK.

Nothing, as long as HP is eventually shown to be the superior brand, and for the amusement of genuine HP fans.

See the previous response: as long as the collection of other brands serve to show you the superiority of HP it's OK.

Uhm... Sorry, I did. And worse, it urged me to make a reply.

Yep!

Re: New TI-PPP discovered! Here it is! - Gene Wright - 01-10-2012

I agree - this looks like some sort of industrial device. Not as exciting as I had hoped. ;-)

(I don't get very excited about the HP 94 either)

Re: New TI-PPP discovered! Here it is! - Eddie W. Shore - 01-11-2012

It looks like an inventory tracking device.
