I just published the promised ILPer version 1.41 at http://hp.giesselink.com/hpil.htm.
To clear the complete text area call the context menu of text window and choose "Select All" then another call of the context menu and choose "Delete". This works in the "Printer" and in the "HP-IL Scope" window.
No further changes to the prior version 1.4.
