HP 67 Card Reader - Steven Faison - 07-26-2002 I have an HP 67 calculator which has developed a gummy wheel which causes the card reader not to work. Joe Rigdon who helped repair some battery chargers a couple of years ago for me apparently cannot be contacted at his last e-mail address. I've contacted the two companies listed in A Guide to HP Handheld Calculators and Computers and neither repair the HP 67 any longer.
Does anyone know who repairs HP 67 calculators presently?
Re: HP 67 Card Reader - Karl-Ludwig Butte - 07-30-2002 Hi Steven, there's an excellent description on how to repair a 67-card reader under http://www.hpmuseum.org/repair.htm. With that you can try it yourself if you have some watchmaker tools and a quiet hand. I have already repaird 4 65 /67 card readers successfully and would also offer it to you to repair yours. If you're interested or have any questions please contact me via LKL_Butte@web.de Regards
