Can anyone identify these keys? - Bruce Larrabee - 10-16-2011 Hello All, Can anyone here identify these keys?
Thank you everyone...
Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Keith Midson - 10-17-2011 Hi Bruce, looks like an early attempt at a 28C/ 18C. Early prototype perhaps? Cheers, Keith
Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Bart (UK) - 10-17-2011 I would guess 18C early prototype, as it has an "=".
Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Gerson W. Barbosa - 10-17-2011 A few more pieces of the puzzle, I guess: Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Bruce Larrabee - 10-17-2011 Heh, did you see the HP28S I built for Keith from a set of clear parts just like those? I built myself one first. It came out quite nice. Then I built one for Keith. It came out PERFECT! (Learned a couple details building the first one...) Here's a couple shots of mine (maybe Keith will post his for us?)
Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Bruce Larrabee - 10-17-2011 Your guesses sound like a possibility.
Any clue what 'ENDE' or 'SAL' mean?
Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Patrice - 10-17-2011 ENDE look German to me!
Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Keith Midson - 10-17-2011 Bruce - yes mine is perfect! One of my favorites in my collection. Here it is: Clear-28S Edited: 17 Oct 2011, 3:39 p.m.
Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Dave Shaffer (Arizona) - 10-17-2011 "ende" = end entry ? "sal" = sale ?
Could be intended for use as (part of) a cash register?
Re: Can anyone identify these keys? - Thomas Radtke - 10-18-2011 ENDE is indeed german, and SAL might be Saldo. So, it's an interesting mix of languages.
