I believe the writer is expressing a certain degree of sexual irritation because the MoHCP had not updated the classified ads for more than five days. This individual obviously derives a great deal of "pleasure" from his collection of HP calculators.
Personally, I hope he stays away from my children and livestock. ;)

Got sheep? haha......NO, "jonesing" you are correct is a strong desire for something, not necessarily sexual, for instance the old song "basketball jones" you guys remember that one don't you? I enjoy searching the classifieds for various hp stuff and was hoping to see some new ads. thats all. But yes, I do enjoy my hp collection probably in the same way as the rest of you guys.

Jonesing is the desire a drug addict has for his/her next fix. When one is really hard up for the next fix he/she might say "I'm jonesing".
It seems to me that it started among cocaine addicts. Now-a-days even my wife says she is "jonesing" for Alley McBele when its been a week since her last "fix"
Personally, I am jonesing for a bar code wand for my 41CX.

For all of the non-dopers (myself included) 'jonesin' was simply a term expressing desire to get back up as in 'keepin'up with the jones's. Mrs. Jones in also slang for heroin. Not to be confused with my husbands "Mr. Happy" which at his age does quite a bit of 'jonesin'. Instead of Mrs. jones he prefers Viagra jones which makes him bad to the bone jones I guess.
