10 or 12 digits? - Kiyoshi Akima - 08-08-2011 Just playing around with the 12CPlatinum, I discovered that it's a 12-digit calculator, unlike the other Voyagers I've played with (excluding the 16C in integer mode, of course). So I have to ask, is the 12C+ a 10-digit or 12-digit machine?
Re: 10 or 12 digits? - Tim Wessman - 08-08-2011 10. Pure emulator. 12c platinum has a sorted history. First version with the silver body used binary math and had serious issues. Later versions fixed all the issues with the SW and began using a 12/15 digit BCD math library.

Re: 10 or 12 digits? - Kiyoshi Akima - 08-09-2011 Thx. I thought it was pure emulation but wanted to be sure.
