Which cold shrink kit for 9810 printer platen? - David Ramsey - 07-18-2011 Title says it all. Tony mentioned that I should use the "smallest" kit, but I don't know what that is. For example, this kit: 3M 7622 Cold Shrink Wrap Kit 7622-T-110 ...is shown as: insulation OD 0.64" to 1.08"
...but I don't know if that would fit.
Re: Which cold shrink kit for 9810 printer platen? - Tony Duell - 07-19-2011 I think that is much too large. It needs to fit on the metal spindle from the original platen, which IIRC is about 1/4" in diameter.
I think the kit I used as 3M 8424-8. If you send me an e-mail (ard@p850ug1.demon.co.uk), I'll send you some more information.
