SpeedUI 11.06 released! - Raymond Del Tondo - 07-03-2011

Hello all,

here's an important update for SpeedUI.

SpeedUI 11.06 fixes a menu key bug when in the Units menu,

and replaces the normal soft keys display with a faster one based on UFL.

Several components have been slightly optimized.

Prior to installation of the new SpeedUI,

please remove ALL older SpeedUI components,

since CF.LIB and other components have changed internally,

and all components have been adjusted to the new CF.LIB layout.

For installation/uninstallation, please take a look into

StartHere.pdf supplied with the SpeedUI 11.06 archive.

The new version is available here:

but _not_ on www.hpcalc.org (since the site has not been updated for a long time)

I read in an old message that you where looking for a CP/M 68k for a series 200.

Did you find one by luck ?

I will be interested to see how it works with an emulator

Btw I'm still searching for ROM based language memory dump
(basic, hpl, ...)

Don't exactly understand what you mean with this. I have a 9816, so probably I can help ...

For the rom dump you need :

hp series 200 unit

9121 or 9122 disk unit, pc with win XP or win98, teledisk utility
(best to have a 9122 to use 600K disk)

language in rom : 98603A BASIC 4.0 ROM, ROM HPL 2.0 for 200 Series, ROM BASIC 2.0 for 200 Series (see hpmuseum site)

if so I can make a basic or pascal program to dump the rom on a file
(I need to know the release of your basic or pascal)

Then you can use teledisk to make an image of the 3"1/2 disc
