First WP 34S R&D Meeting Central Europe - Walter B - 04-15-2011 Hi all, It's a great pleasure for me telling you we had said meeting in Wehrheim (next to the center of Europe ;-) today and made great progress. We increased the number of flashed 20bs in our development team by breathtaking 50% in half a day. Together we got rid of the nasty LNGamma bug. In consequence, also the COMB and PERM and FACT bugs flew away :-) Thus there is a new build on SVN. Try it out!
On behalf of the R&D division
P.S.: There will be some pictures online soon. - Oh, here they are already! Now you know how a GAWP looks like (a German After Work Party) ;-) Edited: 15 Apr 2011, 3:20 p.m.
Re: First WP 34S R&D Meeting Central Europe - Gene Wright - 04-15-2011 Great. I reflashed and can verify that the Perm and Comb bugs appear to be gone.
Build 630 speed tests - Gene Wright - 04-15-2011 Program: LBL A, INC X, BACK 01, RTN 396,508 counts in 60 seconds in floating mode.
just kidding on the binary. The 396K count is a real result.

Quote: These were hairy bugs indeed! :-)
I'll get a 20b soon myself. Would it be easier on the 30b? Thanks!
Re: First WP 34S R&D Meeting Central Europe - Walter B - 04-15-2011 The 30b has a far better keyboard. Besides that, I don't know any major technical differences - the function sets will be overwritten by ours anyway :-)
