Can I assume a Spice Calc with S/N 22xxxx is soldered? - Ernst Fueloep - 01-10-2011

Hi,

Can I assume a Spice calculator with a serial number of > 22xxxx is a soldered model?

Is it known at which serial number production of the Spice family switched from solderless to soldered?

Thanks.

Regards,
Ernst

No and no.

The simple solution is to weigh the unit without batteries. IIRC, ~140 grams is soldered, ~175g is solderless.
