Re: HP-10 repair, strange piece of plastic. - Michael Meyer - 07-28-2010 I'd have to look at one of mine to be sure, but I believe that is exactly how it is supposed to look. The plastic is to keep the moving print mechanism (ribbon cable) from scraping against the back of the circuit board.
