Hi john,

I currently do have a 34C (wich I love) and before I had a 33E. The 34C (made in Brazil) has a thin black rubber (?) sheet inside between the keys and the contacts plastic sheet. I guess that wasn't on the 33E and perhaps you don't have in your calculator also. Have you open already yours to check it? That helps to keep keys in place (no jamming) and make the keyboard soft when pressing down. So, the Reiner's solution would be nice for you...
Good collecting the very nice Spices (I'm seeking them also...)
See you at MoHPC.

Luis
