An addition to my collection - Palmer O. Hanson, Jr. - 09-04-2009

Last week I picked up a Commodore MINITEMAN 6X at a flea market for two dollars. Like the NSC 600 and the NOVUS 650 it uses RPN but it is limited to integer arithmetic. It does have a dedicated Enter key, something that the 600 and 650 do not have.

That's a Novus, too... - Frank Boehm (Germany) - 09-04-2009

it uses a National Semiconductor (NS; Novus was the consumer division of NS) MM5736N - the same chip has been used inside the Minuteman 6 (simple RPN, but no Enter key) *and* also inside the Novus 650. So the lack of an Enter key probably was a marketing decision (and maybe even dictated by manufacturing costs, considering the 650 was the cheapest calculator one could buy...)
