Cases, especially for 200LX - P.Hart - 08-04-2009 I bought a HP 200LX second-hand about twenty years ago
On the subject of cases, I have bought new HP machines Re: Cases, especially for 200LX - Dave Britten - 08-04-2009 That's my exact grievance with the 35s case. The stupid thing is so large and rigid that it makes the calculator no more portable than a 48! But of course, they did make the calculator just a tiny bit larger, so that it doesn't quite fit properly in a Pioneer case. Ho hum.
Re: Cases, especially for 200LX - Hal Bitton in Boise - 08-04-2009 With the 50G case, you could tuck the open flap under your belt, or into your waistband. In the days when there were belt loops on calculator cases, this was a non-issue. In the late 70's, I carried my HP-29C everywhere on my belt and thought nothing of it. Doing so today draws uproarious laughter from my wife and son ;( Re: Cases, especially for 200LX - Martin Pinckney - 08-04-2009 Quote:I can imagine what would happen if I wore my Post Versalog in its gorgeous maroon leather case. I don't, but I do walk around with various Leathermans on my belt, with occasional humorous but kind comments from my wife. |
