HP70 transgenic - Alberto Fenini - 06-21-2009 Hello everybody, I'm sure most of the folks around this forum knew it, but neverless, it may be of help to someone, if not, please forgive me for publishing this. I have recently purchased an HP70 in non working condition. Now, the "non working condition" definition leave room for MANY (too many) meanings, nad this unit was in the possibly worst situation.
Even after the "vinegar" procedure, the keyboard part (including the display and the display drivers) was in a non usable condition. To my surprise, the keyboard unit is exactly the same, and this made my day. Does anybody know of other possible combinations between similar machines ? Thanks for help and keep up with the excellent work.
Take care everybody, Alberto

Too numerous to count. HP generally didn't waste any money on engineering two hardware variants where one would do. That said, occasionally they did have hardware differences for no apparent reason.
