HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Allen - 01-17-2009 I have a number of manuals in my collection that are not yet on DVD for the museum. I would like to scan a few more, but may not have time for all of them, so I wanted to take a poll on which ones would be more valuable so I can focus on them first.
If there is any interest in having these on the next DVD, can you kindly let me know a sorted order for the ones that are of interest to the community. I will work to that order, time permitting. Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Peter A. Gebhardt - 01-17-2009 Allen, as you already know from our PM exchange, I would be very happy to find the following manuals included with the DVD:
18c Business Finance Consultant color or b/w pp60 Best regards,
Peter A. Gebhardt
Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Walter B - 01-17-2009 Please count my vote for
22s Science Student Applications b/w pp160
- the 2nd with lower priority. TIA
Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Allen - 01-17-2009 Peter, Thanks! I also have many/most/all? of the HP48 Catalogs. Are they of interest?
Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Charles Oxford - 01-17-2009 I would like to see 1-11 with 11, 1, 10 being my top picks.

Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Allen - 01-17-2009 OK, the
17b 19b 27s Personal Investment and Tax Planning b/w pp205is sent in to the museum by popular demand. This should be a complete addition of all of the 17b related software manuals that HP made. Excellent. More as time and wife allows. Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Peter A. Gebhardt - 01-17-2009 Allen, I'm very much looking out for anything which increases the usefulness of my 200LX's (and the 17bII+)- they are my workhorses still - so I'm not so much interested in the 48xx/49xx/50G stuff (at least for now). Thx. for your contributions! Peter A. Gebhardt
PS: Could you calculate pricing for the printed manuals, we've talked about? (pls. PM) Edited: 17 Jan 2009, 5:46 p.m.

Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Allen - 01-18-2009 OK, I just sent in the 22S Science Student applications. It is a hard to find book-- I have only seen one or two come up for sale. Mine was new in the wrapper. Once opened, it became a fully bookmarked, OCR, and optimized e-publication.
Here's a preview: Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Walter B - 01-19-2009 Allen,
Thanks for doing it this way, especially since it's such a rare item. Though I learned this "student" is pre-university again. That's an ambiguity in the English language driving me nuts :-(
Re: HP Manual Scans for DVD Version 7 - Allen - 01-19-2009 I'm not really sure where this fits in the education time line. Some of the topics under Chemistry are advanced High school, some under the Calculus are early University.
For example there is one section called: "Transformation of Multiple Integrals": [[figures removed by OCR]]
This determinant is called the Jacobian of the transformation. Notice that the absolute value of the Jacobian is used in the transformation. |
