Casio calculator trade-in - Bruce Bergman - 09-29-2006

Here's an interesting idea for HP. Offer a way to get rid of those ugly, clunky TI machines in the classroom...

Great idea! Hopefully someone within KinHPo reads it, and does something similar.

I checked on some of their trade-in values and Casio seems to be offering about a third of the going Ebay rate for most of the TI models. Not a great deal, but it might bring their calculators net costs within school budgets -- which appears to be their goal. I wonder if TI will respond with a reciprocal offer leading to a calculator pricing war?
