I know they are out there.
Would anyone mind re-posting those, or e-mailing them to me? Thanks a million!

Hi, Jeff;

I have two HP12C Platinum and I can take some pictures of the inside of it (Nikon 3.2MP Coolpix). Should I send them to you by using the e-address you used in this thread? I could also let the pictures available for some time and share the link here.

Some time ago, prior to the HP12Cp being available for sale, G.W. posted some pictures of it, one of them showing the beast´s guts. The Chinese assy is easily verified: a big epoxy bubble in the mid-right of the mainboard and some spare SMD around it. For the sake of technology it's pretty neat, but when we actually think of an HP calculator...

Let me know what you (all) believe is the best choice. Sharing the pictures might be the best choice, though, but I'd like to know what's the best choice.

Cheers.

Luiz,

Many thanks. Yes, I recall that Gene posted them here awhile back, but I could never open the images.

Yes, if you could put 'em on this site, I'm sure that others would like that, as well.

Thanks again,
Jeff

Hi, Jeff;

it took me more time to squeeze the files in the homepage's available space (had to remove a few) than to take the pictures themselves. Please, check them out:

Prior to open. The new HP12Cp case has some tabs that serve as interlocks. I did not see that comming...

After removing the back case; and...

If you need some better images, let me know. I'll find a way to reduce the camera shaking somehow and try to zoom them in, if needed.

Best regards.
