Hello all,

Just a quick update about the MLDL2000. As usual there is good news and bad news. The PCB's for the protos are about ready and will be populated in the next week or so. That was the good news.

The bad news is that I broke my left wrist and will not be able to do anything remotely resembling soldering for the next 5 or 6 weeks, so testing is out of the question. I am making some progress on the software for the user interface, but writing code with one hand is pretty tedious.

Will keep you all updated!

Meindert

Dear Meindert,

actual I hop the best for your broken wrist, with best wishes for the complete restoration to your health -

Christoph Klug

Hey!

What did you do? I broke mine a couple of months back when a fencepost jumped out and grabbed my bike as I was riding past! :-)

ttfn and I hope you feel more comfortable soon!

JasonG

Get well soon!!!

Massimo

All my best wishes for your recovery!!

Juergen

Telling the whole story would be wildly OT, but I fell during an inline skating race.

Meindert

Hehehe, archery is much more saver, although you don´t believe it...

Have a good recovery!

Greetings from Switzerland

Ditto on the wish for your prompt recovery.

Just wanted to also let you know that the community is anxiously awaiting the availabiity of this major HP41 project. Since my old european MLDL prototype died about a week after delivery, I have been frustated by my inability to learn/practice Mcode with my copy of Squid Ink's "Mcode Programmng". I had just started into this text when the box died. I still want the MLDL2000.

Don

Ditto here on the recovery wishes and the anxious wait for the MLDL_2000.

Best,
ÁM.

BTW, if learning MCODE is all what you want to do, you can start with the NoVRAM already, also a marvel of a gizmo.
