Can someone provide me with an example of how the XFCN command on the 42s is used?

Is XFCN only useful for accessing the optional second ROM or can it be used like "syseval" on the 48?

Thanks

Hi Andy,

The routine behind the XFCN call simply jumps to address #20005h (ML),

where the 17BII has it's language/msg ROM.

If no RAM/ROM is present at that address,

an error msg will be created.

The presence of a RAM/ROM device is determined by

checking the constant =cmostest.
