Is anyone using the RPNLEX calculator for the HP-71b created by JR Baker? This seems to be a great RPN calculator, but is missing a storage register feature.

I am considering trying to add a storage feature to this program, but wanted to check if anyone had previously added this feature, or if there are any interest in this program.

This program is certainly not a direct replacement for the 41-71 translator module, but is a usable alternative for someone wanting RPN capability with a 71b.

The hex listing for RPNLEX is only 1040 bytes, so it is possible to key-in the program using the MakeLex basic program. The source code is available on the Museum FTP Site.

Thanks,
Terry

Now, I have so many HP's <smile> that I don't use that program, but I used to. I only own the 41 translator module, not the Forth/assembly one.

I love the fact that my 71b has so many calculator modes:

1. Basic Command Line calculations.
2. CALC mode.
3. FORTH mode command line calculations.
4. HP-41 mode.
5. RPNLEX

That's a lot of calculators!
