And another one :

I read about specs and it seems, like HP, that TI didn't create new calculators but just upgrading olders models with more memory and more appealing colors...

Any comments?

Cool updates from TI!!! I already told my son that I'll get him the TI-89 Titanium!

Titanium, platinum, ....

Pretty soon you'll need a metallurgy degree just to buy a calculator!

Now THAT is an ugly machine! Eeek!

Seems like the cow catcher design is the general trend, so now TI users now get their own...

I agree…UGLY, UGLY, and UGLY. However, the data collector looks interesting. But, how many years LATE is this compared to devices that worked with the HP-41 and IL???

Perhaps the people at TI are thinking:
"Well, HP has had some very popular calculators in the past, so if we make our calculators look like their brand new ones, then ours will be popular among students and engineers."

Little do they know..

What? Cool with only 3MB Flash? I have a 64MB MMC on my 49g+. Even the TI speed has not improved. [VPN] - Matrix IV Inverted

what the hell is TI thinking? its VERY VERY VERY ugly calculator. except for the memory upgrade, i dont see any other significant change. Not to mention, it got more UGLIER! i have the 89 which looks MUCH better than the new UGLY machine. eWWW... but if they added SD card slot, I might consider (20% chance of) buying it.
